A Note from Jimmie and Rachel

Thank you so much for your interest in our music.

We are very relational people and believe very strongly in community. This is a place on our website where we would like to be more personal. If you're curious about us and our music, read on.

We've been married for 11 years and have been blessed with 2 sons (Noah and Malachi) and a daughter (Joy) and most recently an airedale puppy (Wheeler). Life is full and beautiful in this season.

Our faith is at the core of who we are. The Father, Son and Spirit have taken us on a crazy, wonderful adventure and the best is yet to come. We believe music is spiritual and it is a gift both of us feel we are to share with the World. We've been given a message for the body of Jesus Christ in our most recent project, Song of the Wilderness.

We have so many dreams and visions we are working toward and believing will come to pass soon. Many of these include music but some involve other things. We believe our faith is a way of life. There is no separation between the secular and the spiritual. A holistic way of living is what we work toward each day.

A long time ago we started hearing from the Lord, "open your doors and I'll bring the people." We are praying for land to build a homestead that we can share with others. We have a desire to bring people into a lifestyle of worship with us on the property.  This includes opening up small cabins or tiny houses to people in need of a place to rest or create or just be. Working in the garden, enjoying nature, sitting around a fire, feasting and sharing. All of this, is to be done together.

Much of this vision stems from our personal journey. We have gone through seasons of faith where we found ourselves dreaming of a place to go and just receive and then create the music in our hearts. We want to offer this gift to others.

So there you have it. A little piece of who we are. We'd love to hear from you too.

Singing out freedom,

Jimmie and Rachel Gillespie
